What neurodivergence means here
Neurodivergence is an umbrella term for the many ways people experience and process the world. It can include autism, ADHD, dyslexia, dyspraxia, Tourette’s, and other differences in attention, senses, movement, learning, communication, or regulation.
Everyone’s experience is unique. Explore what feels relevant without forcing yourself into a box or conclusion.
Notice, don’t judge
A few places to look gently
These are invitations, not tests. “Sometimes,” “it depends,” and “I don’t know yet” are useful answers.
Sensory world
Sounds, textures, light, movement, and environments that help you settle.
Social rhythm
Communication, context, boundaries, connection, and recovery time.
Attention & energy
Starting, switching, remembering, deep focus, and what makes tasks easier.
Comfort & regulation
Routines, interests, movement, objects, and people that help you feel grounded.
Consent before depth
Patterns, needs, and self-understanding
A label can be a map, a community connection, or language you are trying on. You decide what fits and who you share it with.
Notice one recurring difficult moment. What is being asked of you, and what might reduce the barrier? More time, clearer instructions, less sensory input, a written prompt, movement, company, or recovery time can all be reasonable accommodations.
