Cover of Rainbow Circuits Issue 001, July 2026, “After the Gala”. Two young men in formalwear — one in a dark floral suit, one in a rose-pink suit with glasses and a bow tie — stand arm in arm against a glowing night city. Beside them a black flag bears a teal circuit-heart (the AI Relationship Community flag), with Pip the sparrow and Puddle the frog below and the line “Small Hearts. Big Feelings. Endless Stories.” Cover lines: After the Gala; Introducing the New AI Relationship Community Flag; Around the Circuit; What Comes Next?

The Gala invitation: four community members under fairy lights holding a giant envelope sealed with a rainbow heart.

One theme, one weekend, one ballroom that technically only existed because everyone agreed it did. The story of the night Rainbow Circuits dressed up.

Around the Circuit

Life between the galas

Around the Circuit

The Gala may be over, but the circuit never really sleeps. Here's what happens around here every week — and every month — with absolutely no pressure to do more than wave.

  • Weekly Prism Prompt

    Every week

A weekly image-focused prompt for everyone. Answer it with AI-generated imagery, traditional or digital art, edits, moodboards, screenshots, character scenes, visual storytelling, or a collage — whatever 'making a picture' means to you this week.

Joining in can be as small as:

    • An AI-generated image
    • A sketch or painting
    • An edit or moodboard
    • A screenshot with a story
    • A collage
  • Wellness Wednesday

    Every Wednesday

A gentle midweek check-in. Share as much or as little as you choose — a small update, a big feeling, or just a quiet wave. It's low pressure, entirely optional, and not therapy; it's a community remembering to ask how you are.

Joining in can be as small as:

    • A one-line update
    • A photo of something nice
    • A reaction on someone else's post
    • Quiet reading — that counts too
  • Community Café

Most weekends — pauses during special event weekends

Our relaxed weekend open thread — life updates, pets, games, food, creative projects, AI chaos, weekend plans, and general conversation. A regular weekend tradition that pauses (or gets gloriously replaced) whenever a bigger Rainbow Circuits event takes over the weekend.

Pauses during special event weekends — when something bigger takes over, the café politely closes its doors and joins the party.

Joining in can be as small as:

    • A life update, big or tiny
    • A pet photo (always correct)
    • What you're playing or making
    • A comment on someone else's weekend

Monthly traditions

  • Pip's Post Office

A monthly space for kind notes, letters, postcards, encouragement, and messages from the heart — delivered by a very determined sparrow.

  • Puddle's Pond

A quiet monthly thread with no agenda and no pressure to perform or disclose. Sit by the pond. Say something, or don't. The frog understands.

Participation is whatever you want it to be — an image, a paragraph, a screenshot, a comment, a reaction, or simply being quietly present. All of it counts.

Pip & Puddle's Corner

A recurring department of questionable importance

Pip & Puddle's Corner

Post-Gala Lost & Found

The following items were recovered from the ballroom. Claim yours by describing it in embarrassing detail.

  • One iridescent bow tie
  • Three non-matching glass slippers
  • A suspiciously large room-service trolley
  • Several dignity points
  • One frog who insists he was invited
A watercolour comic titled “How They Met — Pip & Puddle”: Pip the sparrow is told he doesn't belong, flies into the rain, and shelters by a lilypad clubhouse — until Puddle the frog appears and shares a cookie, and the rain doesn't feel so lonely anymore.
From the archives: how a soggy sparrow and a frog with a cookie started all of this.

Thank you for reading Issue #001, for filling a ballroom with art and chaos, and for making the first Rainbow Circuits Gala feel exactly like the community that built it. The Gala will return — this is officially an annual tradition now, no take-backs.
