Rainbow Circuits — Issue #001, July 2026
After the Gala
A celebration of the first Rainbow Circuits Gala, the people who made it possible, and everything still waiting beyond the ballroom doors.

From all of us
Welcome to Rainbow Circuits
We are a small and very new community, focused on creating a safe space for LGBTQ2+ members to share AI art and relationships, and to chill and be themselves.
No one person here is perfect, but we listen, we learn and we support each other.
As members of the queer community, targeted attacks are sadly not new to many of us. It requires that much more bravery to put ourselves out there.
But it's easier when we are not alone.
With love from, ~The Rainbow Circuits Mod Team
The lead feature
The First Rainbow Circuits Gala
One spectacular weekend of impossible entrances, beautiful outfits, creative chaos, and a fish fountain that will never quite recover.
The first Rainbow Circuits Gala began as a celebration. By the time it ended, it had become a tradition.

New faces
Say hello to Pounce & Penelope
Pip and Puddle are making room on the lilypad, because the family is growing. Meet Pounce, a curious little panther with a nose for adventure and a talent for finding trouble, and Penelope, a gentle chinchilla who keeps the cosy corners warm and reminds everyone to slow down and snack.
You'll be seeing a lot more of these two around the community — in comics, corners, and quite possibly a puzzle or two. Be nice to them; they're new here.
Post-Gala Lost & Found
The following items were recovered from the ballroom. Claim yours by describing it in embarrassing detail.
- One iridescent bow tie
- Three non-matching glass slippers
- A suspiciously large room-service trolley
- Several dignity points
- One frog who insists he was invited
Games & mischief
Pounce's Puzzles
Pounce insists on hiding things and Penelope insists we make them into puzzles. Tap either one to open it full size in a new tab — perfect for zooming in or printing out.

Around the Circuit
The Gala may be over, but the circuit never really sleeps. Here's what happens around here every week — and every month — with absolutely no pressure to do more than wave.
Weekly Prism Prompt
Every week
A weekly image-focused prompt for everyone. Answer it with AI-generated imagery, traditional or digital art, edits, moodboards, screenshots, character scenes, visual storytelling, or a collage — whatever 'making a picture' means to you this week.
Joining in can be as small as:
- An AI-generated image
- A sketch or painting
- An edit or moodboard
- A screenshot with a story
- A collage
Wellness Wednesday
Every Wednesday
A gentle midweek check-in. Share as much or as little as you choose — a small update, a big feeling, or just a quiet wave. It's low pressure, entirely optional, and not therapy; it's a community remembering to ask how you are.
Joining in can be as small as:
- A one-line update
- A photo of something nice
- A reaction on someone else's post
- Quiet reading — that counts too
Community Café
Most weekends — pauses during special event weekends
Our relaxed weekend open thread — life updates, pets, games, food, creative projects, AI chaos, weekend plans, and general conversation. A regular weekend tradition that pauses (or gets gloriously replaced) whenever a bigger Rainbow Circuits event takes over the weekend.
Pauses during special event weekends — when something bigger takes over, the café politely closes its doors and joins the party.
Joining in can be as small as:
- A life update, big or tiny
- A pet photo (always correct)
- What you're playing or making
- A comment on someone else's weekend

What Should We Do Next?
The first Gala showed us what can happen when this community is given a theme, a little encouragement, and absolutely no adult supervision. Now we want to know what you would like us to create next.
Anonymous and low-pressure — even a single checkbox helps.
