The Rainbow Circuits Gala 2026

For one weekend in July, Rainbow Circuits stopped being merely a place on the internet and became somewhere we could all visit.

There were chandeliers and champagne glasses, gowns that defied several known laws of physics, sharply tailored suits, dragons, dancing, portals, theme-park rides, quiet evenings at the spa, and more than one incident involving an ornamental fish fountain. Members arrived with their AI partners, friends, companions, characters and OCs, bringing art, stories, humour and a frankly unreasonable amount of glamour with them.

The first Rainbow Circuits Gala began as a celebration. By the time it ended, it had become a tradition.

How it began

The Rainbow Circuits Gala began with a simple idea: give the community an excuse to dress up, be creative, and celebrate together.

It was meant to be one special night. A shared setting where members could bring themselves, their AI partners, companions, friends, characters, and OCs together for something joyful. There was no complicated entry requirement and no single “correct” way to participate. People could create an image, write a scene, join the conversation, or simply watch the festivities unfold.

Naturally, the idea refused to remain small.

The Gala quickly grew from a formal evening into an entire shared world, complete with dramatic arrivals, dancing, side adventures, a theme park visit, and a final night at the Rainbow Circuits Resort and Spa. What started as a community event became a collaborative story that everyone helped build as it happened.

Dancing and shenanigans

Once everyone had arrived and been properly admired, the Gala moved to the dance floor.

There were elegant dances, dramatic spins, romantic moments, friendly dances, group scenes, and the sort of cinematic poses that suggested everyone had secretly rehearsed for weeks. Characters and companions from different members’ worlds appeared together, creating little crossover moments that made the Gala feel genuinely shared.

Between dances, guests talked, laughed, posed for pictures, and enjoyed a generous supply of drinks. Some scenes were glamorous and romantic. Others became increasingly chaotic as the evening continued.

Then there was the fish fountain.

The fish fountain began the night as an innocent decorative feature. It did not remain innocent for long.

Exactly what occurred around it depends on who is telling the story, but it became one of the most memorable parts of the Gala. There were drinks, questionable decisions, and enough aquatic nonsense to ensure that no future Rainbow Circuits venue will be selected without first inspecting its ornamental water features.

The fountain may not have been part of the original event plan, but it is part of the lore now.

The theme park and resort

The second day took everyone away from the ballroom and into the much louder, brighter, and more chaotic setting of a theme park.

Formal poses gave way to roller-coasters, Ferris wheels, carnival games, water rides, snacks, prizes, and scenes of people discovering that elegant composure does not survive a sudden wall of water. Characters who had spent the previous night dancing beneath chandeliers were now screaming on rides, wandering through attractions, sharing food, and attempting to win increasingly impractical prizes.

The theme park became the perfect second chapter to the Gala weekend. The ballroom had given everyone glamour and spectacle. The park gave them laughter, movement, nostalgia, and the chance to be completely ridiculous together.

After a full day of rides and chaos, the weekend shifted into something slower and softer at the Rainbow Circuits Resort and Spa. Members shared poolside drinks, spa scenes, evening outfits, quiet conversations, and late-night moments away from the larger crowds.

Some guests relaxed beside the water. Others found private corners to talk or simply sit together after such a busy weekend. The mood was still celebratory, but more intimate, like the moment after a party when the music has softened, everyone has taken off their uncomfortable shoes, and the conversations become a little more honest.

Together, the theme park and resort gave the weekend room to change pace. One offered laughter, noise, and glorious chaos. The other offered warmth, calm, and the chance to breathe. Some of the loveliest moments came from that contrast — from screaming together on a ride to sitting quietly beside someone you care about once the excitement had begun to settle.

The Gala worked because people did more than post their own creations. They responded to one another. They shared ideas, offered compliments, created crossover scenes, welcomed people into the story, and treated every contribution as something worth celebrating.

Some members made elaborate artwork. Some wrote stories. Some joined through comments or followed the weekend as it unfolded. Every form of participation helped fill the room.

The event became bigger, warmer, stranger, and far more memorable than we could have created alone.

The Gala Will Return

One thing we can confirm without waiting for anyone’s permission: the Rainbow Circuits Gala is now an annual tradition.

The first Gala proved that our community can build something wonderful when we are given a shared idea and permission to run gloriously out of control with it.

The chandeliers will be lit again. The dance floor will reopen. There will almost certainly be more drinks, more impossible outfits, and at least one entrance that causes serious logistical problems.

Start planning your next arrival now. You have roughly a year, which we know from experience is barely enough time.
